So lately I've been feeling a real kin-ship to the character of Betty Draper on the series Mad Men. She's a disenchanted former model/girl about town who married a mysterious handsome ad man (lead character Don Draper) and lives a life of enuie and despair in suburban westchester.
If only my wardrobe was half as wonderful as hers...and look how she sports a shotgun and cig! Life outside the city is a little rough but I think I'm still a ways off from re-enacting this scene...
In other news- this weekend was Albany pride. There were floats and dancing and wonderfulness and so, so many happy people that it truely helped me shake off the doldrums of the past week. also- drag queen lady gaga!!
Bottom line- less Betty Draper, more Gaga.
